Install TestFlight from the App Store. It is free, from Apple, and you only do this once.
Tap Get the beta on this page. TestFlight opens with Curlhood ready to install.
Tap Install, then open Curlhood from your home screen. You may see an orange dot next to the icon. That means beta. You are in.
The Apple ID on your phone must match the one TestFlight expects. Check Settings → your name, or sign into the Apple ID you use for the App Store.
That is Apple verifying it is you. Complete the prompt once and the install continues.

what to test
Live with the app through a wash day or two. Start here, then explore everything else at your own pace.
Make a profile
Add the hair you care for, yours or someone else's. Walk through the intake (curl pattern, porosity, density) so Curlhood knows what it is working with. You can always come back and fill in what you skipped.
Browse and watch a tutorial
Open the Tutorials tab and search for a technique or a creator you already trust. Play one inline, check that the creator is credited, and save it to your profile if you want it waiting for you later.
Ask a question
Tap the round button on any tab and ask in your own words, the way you would say it out loud. Try something real, like "help me cornrow my daughter's hair," and tell us whether what comes back feels useful.
Browse the glossary
Open the Guide tab and look up a term you have always wondered about. Save anything worth coming back to. It lands on your profile shelf, same as a saved tutorial.
